If it's happening, I would report it to the help desk... sometimes (often times) advertisers use worms, and viruses to advertise, and the site itself may be compromised by one of their advertisers...

Unfortunately, on the web, a site has to have a certain trust in who they do business with to keep their site running, and it seems more and more, the companies that were reputable yesterday with their ads, become sleazy tomorrow with their business practices... from my own experience, it wouldn't be the fault of this site, but the advertiser, and this site wouldn't even know it was happening until it gets reported... which is why sites like this have "Beta Testers"... but I suppose I don't have to tell you that, eh?
