Someone I admire, another art nude photographer, has effectively left this site.  I feel him.  If you're just here for the boobs, please, for the love of god, just go to a porn site!  There's a million of them!

I am always shocked when a good artist leaves. It goes not only for art nude photographers, even though they are the most prone to art theft. It was a rather bitter surprise to learn that jon-wild left the place. DA would be a way worse place without Muse or Belovodchenko, John Peri or Asinus Vulgaris, Adrian, Abrito, Alfred Georg or even you. But the problem is even deeper and it goes beyond DA, too. (The list is not complete of course.) After I left Facebook I cease to use Google Photos, too, because they changed their rules the way that by accepting that you give them right to take what is yours... And this is even spread into several articles forming a hard-to-resolve network of statements. DA should develop its framework and install image protection techniques like some other sites do and change their watermark into a more protective, less obstructive thing. Also it would be good if they automaticly would place suitable markers into the files' IPTC record... There are many ways.

"Respect the models" is another issue for me. There are several members (sometimes I won't call'em photographers) who publish disrespectful images and puts on the "Please respect the model" statement, and exclaiming that "this is not porn, this is art!" While several serious art nude photographers use the statement, too, I often feel the urge to comment "I wish I could respect your model but how if you cannot respect her?" This is the very bad part in this "wow, boobs!" attitude. I wish there were more photographers like you and the above mentioned ones here, to change it together...
